Re
:
Forgot Password - Have New Email Address
Okay, let me try to explain this again, because there has been some confusion here that I'm afraid is affecting the log-on of another person.
To answer Karrier's question about the fact that I was logged on as "ros".
That's right! I received the new temporary password for "ros" at atlas@cableone.net.
So I came right here and logged on as "ros" with the password.
I then went to my "Profile" to change the password and lo-and-behold--it was NOT me but a fellow named Vincent Sellers. That's how I happened to be logged on as "ros" (which should have had a capital R).
But Vincent Sellers, who must have had the original 'ros' log-in no doubt cannot log on now that you have changed his password and mailed it to me at atlas@cableone.net.
Now going back:
H2O in the mid-90s was a discussion board where I was registered as 'Ros' (with a capital R).
That discussion board lost its server about the year 2000 or so and it is now a discussion board on Aimoo at this URL:
http://forum1.aimoo.com/Hourglass2_Outpost/International-Open-Forum-for-J-1-5711A couple years ago I was posting on that discussion board as 'Ros'. That's why I'm confused.
The reason it had to be the same log-in is because it had my old picture and my old signature that I had used in the late 90s. Evidently there has been some server change since that obliterated my old log-in.
So it is evident that you are right, Admin, I will need to establish a new log-in.
UNLESS you are not now able to reestablish/reassign "Ros" to Vincent Sellers.
In which case, I will be glad to keep 'Ros' and simply correct the profile.
Sorry for all the confusion. I assumed that the e-mail addresses were confirmed to belong to the log-in before sending out a new one. (I realize my problem was that the e-mail was not working--but I thought your profile on me would have to match one that I provided.)
