I have been having problems in my group with the copy and paste option. Members are saying that they can not copy and paste. Below is the latest message I received in our Daily Trivia Thread. We copy and paste our results. It has always worked and the thing is it still works for me. I have copied and pasted graphics within the group and copied and pasted from outside the group tonight to try it out. All is well. However the other members can't, any ideas ???? From what I can tell it works up until they click the post button. Then nothing shows up on the page. It seems to be glitching only on the graphics as far as I can tell?????

( member message ) "Hi Terri.... well, this is quite a mystery.  I can post a message like this one just fine, but when I copy and paste from the results it just disappears.  This time I tried it three times and even did a Preview first and it looks fine.  Go figure. "

My group is http://countryroads.aimoo.com/

This is a mystery.  Admin will need to check it out.  I will alert him to your message.

I had another kind of posting problem, so maybe there is a glitch.

We have checked already, your member is able to copy and paste the result in that thread. Would you please ask your member what browser she is using?

The members who are having a problem are using Internet Explorer 8. We are looking into it further but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I have been ill with the flu.

 Hi Willow,

there's lots of settings you can "tweak" with IE and many of them do affect functions on some websites. It might be that they have their security settings too high for example. Let us know what you find out though and someone should be able to point you in the right direction.

if it's just those using IE8 that are struggling it must be something in the settings somewhere, so try to get as much info from them as you can,

Babs might also have some tips for you on settings for IE8, as I believe that's what she's using at the moment and she has no issues that I know of. Not sure what time she'll be around next though.

Yes I use IE8 and I don't have any problems copying and pasting. Most of my members use IE8 and they are copying and pasting OK. They do it all the time from Photobucket.

LOL, I asked my brother to come and have a look.  I was sure my computer was done in.  But it is only happening on one thread which has gotten quite lengthy.  But I gave it a few more tries and it's fine.
