What are the privileges of a Diamond Member and what does it take to be a diamond member?

My question is, if the owners upgrade to diamond, will all the members have the same options, or does each member have to donate something, thanks en3

You may let your members donate and then you can make use of the donations to get all the diamond community features.
If you purchase the service, all your members are entitle to the cool features:)

So how are these donations monitored so that a Manager knows how much has been donated and how much is need to meet the required fee?  And what if the donations exceed the normal annual fee required to be a diamond community.  How is all that accounted for?

If you have a Diamond Community ... there is an accounting in your Control Panel. Donations that exceed your membership fee, will be saved and deducted when you renew your Diamond membership.

A few more questions about the Diamond account.

We are in the process of collecting donations.  At what point do we have decide which fee structure we want to go with?

Are pageviews based on a "monthly" amount, or do they just accumlate over the course of the year until you reach the limit?

For instance.......if we go with structure B, which says:

Structure B (more Pageviews)
$5 per month (40,000 pageviews + 200M hard disk storage space)

The total of pageviews is 530,00.  So, does that mean we can't go over 40,000 pageviews each month?  Or....some months we can have less, some months more........as long as we don't go over the total of 530,000 during the course of the year?

Pageviews are deducted from the total amount allotted within the time period you chose.

If you choose structure B, you will get one year to use the 530,000 + the extra 50,000 = 580,000 pageviews. Please be advised that left over pageviews do not roll over, so after your one year is up ... you will have to renew your Diamond status.

Yes, if you did the $30 for 6 months, you will need to renew your diamond community again in 6 months, IF you don't go over your allotted pageviews before then.

Structure A gives you more hard drive space, Structure B gives you more pageviews.

To check how many pageviews you've used, and your balance ... go to >

My Control Panel > Manage Forum > Manage > Diamond Programs > Accounting

Ok thank you, I got another dumb question to ask you I went to my control panel> manage form etc to the diamond program accounting, at the moment it says zero on everything, so when you pay for community service is that when it starts your pageviews..or hard drive space ??

I believe that all depends on how you paid for your group. I have only used the paypal method, and it has always been applied immediately.

When did you upgrade, and what method of payment did you use?

Yes, you can switch when you renew.

And there is the option to allow your members to donate to your forum, and that can help defray the cost of operating your forum, if you so choose.

As of this morning, we have enough donations to upgrade to Diamond.  My question is.......how do we do that?  I've looked all over the management features and can't find a place to do it.  The accounting part shows the money, who donated, etc., but no place to apply the money to upgrade.

Thanks Karrier.  I should have also asked, is the Owner the only one that can upgrade?
