   oh you're not alone I assure you, it happens with most forums style sites at one time or another. They see forums as a good place to spam for some reason.
  
  
  I used to get them a lot back at MSN from time to time too, but they really do stop eventually, it just takes a little while for them to realise they're not getting in.

  
  

  Look on the bright side though, just think of the mess you'd be clearing up if you had an open forum.

  Sadly this is just one of those things that happens to everyone now and then, and there's not much you can do I'm afraid, except keep rejecting them.They "test" a forum for a while to see if they can get in to add their spam posts, but give up eventually and the requests then stop.

  go to your forum control panel and look in the Skin & Style section for Forum Icons. This shows all your current icons and there's a button beside each one to change it. Just click the button and load up your new one.
  
  
  You might need to clear your browser cache after you're done before you see the changes, but they do take effect straight away otherwise.

  if you mean the skin we have in here right now, it's in the skin collection for new style forums. If you have a classic style forum, there is a thanksgiving one for those too, but it's not exactly the same as this one.

  just a guess, but have there been any updates to your Firefox lately? updates can sometimes reset things, like security settings and whether cookies are accepted etc. The option to stay logged in requires your browser to "save" certain info, and if it's not doing that you wont stay logged in, so it might be worth checking your settings.

  as you can see it's doing it in here too, sorry. All we can do is wait on a fix, and use the today page in the meantime to access the threads.

  there seems to be a glitch of some kind in some forums and it's been passed to Admin for investigation. As it's the weekend though it's not likely to be resolved till Monday I'm afraid.
  
  
  Try using the "today" page to access threads in affected forums as that seems to be working ok.

  it only came up yesterday apparently, and I only found the post myself just as I spotted yours. As you can see Admin is working on it, so hopefully it'll be sorted soon, but at least you can still use the alternative way to post them for now.
