If you want to get any friend request, please access your control panel > profile update> friends > friends setting to tick "I don't want to be disturbed and please hide the icon from my posts."
If you get someone's request and then decline it, to preventing from further friend requests from the user, you may access your inbox to add the username in your ignore list.
