Would it be possible, via a check box in the profile section perhaps, to receive e-mail notification, to the e-mail address used to open an Aimoo account, when a new thread or reply is posted in a community the user is subscribed to?  That way, a user who belongs to a low traffic community would be informed of any new information in the forum without having to log into Aimoo to check.  If it was set up on a forum-by-forum basis, only the low traffic forums could be checked, so as to avoid a ton of notifications from a high traffic forum.

If this is already an option, I haven't found it yet.

Thank you for your time.

Or do you mean any new thread / reply on a forum?

I was looking for any new post on a forum, regardless of whether it was in reply to the user or not, and sent to the users registration e-mail, outside of Aimoo, Karrier.  Is that an option somewhere?  And, since I don't think I've had any replies to any posts I've made yet, does checking that box send you mail to your Aimoo e-mail, or to the e-mail you registered under (gmail, hotmail, etc.)?

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

We actually have the option for you to subscribe to a new post. It is placed under the editor as

Just select the option if you would like to be informed once it is replied to via email.

Doh, not logged in again.

Found the messages caught by the spam blocker (I'm not in the habit of going through messages tagged as "spam").  Marked as "not spam" now, should be all good!

thx again
