I have used a few different forums throughout the years and I must say that I really like Aimoo.  But I have noticed some features that I would like to see added.

-A "Mark All Forums Read" option and a "Mark All Posts Read" option.

-A "Who's On" list for the chat room.

-Suspend Users Make it so Moderators can temporarly ban any abusive user for a period of time (time can be set by the Owner or an Administrator in the Control Panel and should be in "days").  Also, when any Moderator suspends a user, a private message would be sent to all Administrators (including the Owner) of the action and show the user who was suspended, who suspended them, and for what reason.  This would then allow the Administrators (or the Owner) to take proper action against the user as they see fit.  This option should be decided by the Owner or an Administrator if a Moderator is to have this ability or not and this feature would take the place of the Ban User, Ban E-mail, and Ban IP options for a Moderator.

-Deny Access to Forums This would allow the Owner & Administrators the ability to deny access to individual members (instead of as a group) from any or all forums.

Revoke Posting Priveledges Allow Moderators to revoke the posting priveledges of any member.  This would make it to where abusive members would only be able to view the forums and not be able to post in them.

-Ability to make members a chat moderator or chat administrator in the chat room.

-IRC-like commands in the chat room.  I would REALLY like to see these commands be added (if possible):

/msg  Would allow you to private message anyone in the room by typing /msg   (without the < >).

/kick Would allow chat moderators and chat administrators the ability to kick abusive users out of the chat room just by typing /kick .[/i}

/ban [i]Would allow chat moderators and chat administrators the ability to ban abusive users just by typing /ban and unban them by typing /unban
This would ONLY ban the user from the chat room and not from the entire community.

/banip Would allow chat moderators and chat administrators the ability to ban an abusive user's IP by simply typing /banip and unban them by typing /unban This would ONLY ban the user from the chat room and not from the entire community.

/banlist Would list all of the bans when typed.  Shows who was banned, who banned the user, and when.

I think these would make it easier for alot of people since most people are used to IRC commands.  Plus this would be an alternate way for Admins & Moderators to kick and/or ban a user from the chat room.

We are grateful for your support!

Concerning your two suggestions,
-A "Mark All Forums Read" option and a "Mark All Posts Read" option.
-A "Who's On" list  for the chat room.
We will consider adding.

The left two suggestions are already exist on Aimoo. Moderator has the option to ban any user or member except owner and admin as you mentioned.

If you have any further feedback and suggestions, please feel free to let us know.
