First ... when replying to a multiple paged thread using the TODAY function, the user should automatically go to the page which the post you are replying to, is on ... which in my case, is usually the last page of that particular thread. To go to the first page, then have to click on the last page to see the post I am replying to ... is costing me a page view everytime I, or anyone else, visits that particular thread using the TODAY function.

Secondly, regarding the use of the advanced text editor for replying ... which I prefer ... the posts showing below the editor, should show the LAST 10 replies, not the FIRST 10.

Thank you for looking into these issues.

We will consider to making adjustment to the replies in the "today" page.

In addition, the reply function has been addressed. After clicking on "Reply" in a thread, it will appear the advanced editor, the original topic and the all rest replies of that page.  Please check and contact us for further feedback.

I don't think you understand what I am saying ... if I have MORE than ONE page in that thread ... I want to see the most recent posts. Not the FIRST page ... or the original post.

For example ... if there are 100 replies in a thread, when replying ... it would be more convenient to see the post order as follows ...

#100
# 99
# 98
# 97
# 96
# 95 ... etc.

I am not sure but will the viewing work like that when replying if the thread is in desending order or have you already got it set like that?

My forum doesnt have threads as long as yours so i dont have that problem so have no ideea if thats what you have got but still get the first page under the reply box.

No, I've already tried that ... and for the

"Would you like to see most recent replied to topic on top for the users?" question ... I have it checked as yes.

Even when you select DESCENDING order, the original post still appears first, incorrectly.  Thus, you have:

#001
#100
#099
#098
#097
....

The original #001 should get listed LAST - hence the definition of DESCENDING ORDER.

I thought it was standard to always show the OP (Opening Post) and as you say it then shows the last post left so why is it a problem having the original OP showing and then the posts in your choosen order?

I do not understand what the problem is with that.

It was not that way PRIOR to the migration.  I had DESCENDING ORDER, and the original post appeared last.  All I want is a preference for the way things were.

I have requested a preference that lets admins decide.
> ASCENDING
> DESCENDING - ORIGINAL POST FIRST
> DESCENDING - ORIGINAL POST LAST

Then you can have your way, too !

Excuse me? You must be confused about what I said ... I have no choice in the order of the replies showing when using the advanced text editor to reply to a particular post ... it shows the OP, then the 2nd post, 3rd post ... etc. How can you not understand the problem with the way it is set up when I can't change the order that the replies are viewed when using the advanced text editor? Generally, what I would be replying to would be the LAST post, not the OP.

And as I checked just now, I see the issue has been addressed and resolved. Thank you, Aimoo.

I now see the OP, then the last page of the multiple page thread. And all is good in Aimoo Land.
