Two reasons.
1. The free forums lack many of the advanced customisation options of the diamond forums. (Your forum lacks bespoke graphics, for example.)
2. Your forum is free, and you must appreciate that the paying customers are a priority for Aimoo. Aimoo is after all a business.
That said, the review system is to be changed and revamped. I have no idea what Aimoo will or won't allow under the new rules. (And I don't know when it's going to happen either.)
