Most of the time the TODAY page fails to load on my forums.  Only once in a great while will it load.

Also, can you please provide a profile preference for users who prefer the old style of the TODAY page ?  The new style is so hard to use, and requires so much scrolling to locate anything useful.  Being able to QUICKLY scan the recent threads is very important.

See the image for an example of how to make the TODAY page look.  It has the capability to collapse-expand the thread and see the first line of messages.

I used the old style TODAY page often, as my preferred means of reviewing posts in the support forum.  Now, I hardly ever use the TODAY page, as it is no longer a summary of recent topics, but lists the actual messages.  Furthermore, although the TODAY page works in the support forum, in my own forums it usually fails to load after hanging for a minute.  In the few times that it does actually load, it takes a minute, making the TODAY page "not worth the effort".Maybe you could offer a profile preference for users to select SIMPLE or ADVANCED, referring to the old and new styles of the TODAY page ?

Thank you for your consideration in this matter. We will set the speed optimization for our today's page. And your suggestions concerning the prefenrence for users to select simple or advanced one for today's page will be much considered to add.

On my own forum, selecting "Last XX Active Threads In This Community" displays just the titles of the threads (which is my preference).  However, on the support forum, it displays the entire first message (which is not my preference).  Why the difference from one forum to another ?

No, this is what appears on mine for recent THREADS (which is what I want).  It only shows the title, not the entire message.  I want the same thing for recent POSTS.
