Losing it, spreading it around, "leaving of our own free will" or anything other than keeping it intact is simply not going to fly. That content is my proprietary intellectual property and right now I cannot control it. For God's sake I own and pay for the forum but cannot even adminstrate it because my admin status has disappeared! Much of the content is personal medical information and other protected content which I can no longer keep secure from the general public. Furthermore, I am not amused that my high-tech site now has template that looks like something from Alice in Wonderland." I don't believe anyone has said your posts were lost. Maybe I missed that part in one of the Admins replies. They simply may not have all been restored yet. I pay for my board also. Have done so for almost 5 years. I'd bet your admin status is still there. Plus if you don't want the general public to get to your board then take it offline. If you can't get to the admin side of it I am sure that the Aimoo Administers will take it offline for you until this all gets sorted. My board was customized also. I am not happy that I now have a basic template eitehr. But Again I planed ahead. I copied all my setup information to one of my home PCs. "I am not a charity case. I am paying for service for which my members pay me." No one said you were and my members pay also. "Perhaps you would like to explain the situation to them." I've explained it to mine. They don't like it but as I said earleir I created a temporary site elsewhere to use until Aimoo gets this straight. "How long before they abandon me? Tell me, should I not do everything to protect myself and my members? Are we all just supposed to live with it? As for now, I cannot even contact Aimoo by e-mail. Unfortunately, I cannot wait for Aimoo to get their act straight and hope is not a course of action. All I want is what I, and my members, paid for. I don't want my money back, just my forum and its contents. Is that too much to ask? The money is peanuts. Give my intellectual property back to me and I will leave quietly. Until then I will do everything and anything to recover that which is precious to me. Perhaps you could persuade Aimoo to e-mail my database records to me and end this melodrama" I'm sure you will get yout intellectual property back.I'm not siding with Aimoo. But I find that all teh complaiing and moaning probably isn't going to speed up or clear up the problems at all.
