Input from many Aimoo users who could not understand the difference between Normal member and Advanced member, we decide to change the titles. Right now, Normal Member and Advanced Member are just two kinds of user titles provided for forum owner/admin to set different prvileges.
Things will be changed like this: Registered member: Users who don't have an account and sign up/register on your forum directly but not from Aimoo's homepage. Normal member: Users who just join your forum but already had accounts on Aimoo.
After changing, all your current advanced members will be turned back as normal members. As system cannot recognize your members who are registered or just normal members, you need to tell us which members are registered directly on your forum or all your normal and advanced members will be kept as normal members.
In addition, Owner will be changed as Administrator Administrator will be changed as Assist Administrator.

What happens if we only partially agree or disagree? I like the idea of changing Owner to Administrator and Administrator changed to Assistant Administrator, but I would like to have Member instead of Normal Member and keep Advanced Member so we can set different privileges and not based on how they came to join my three Forums.
So whichever way I vote, I am voting for something I don't agree with. Could you extend the choices a little?

LOL I never did understand it but I did do some reading. I decided to make all members who came from MSN "Advanced Member" and all Newbies are Normal members...........but they all have the same permissions. It is just my way of knowing who joined me from MSN and who is new to my club.

I don't care. My group is private and I've worked with all members for years. We know and trust each other so there's no problem. Having said that, it's always nice to have someone at the helm who can change things to make our group suit our members--much in the way you try to accommodate us.
