There is a diffence between logging into Aimoo.com and accessing your message board.  Please make sure you are not reporting a login problem when you realy have a board acess problem.  So first make sure you are logged into Aimoo.com. 

You can also use the following Aimoo link >>  http://www.aimoo.com/forget.cfm and put in the email address you used when you first signed up.  This will email your information back to you.

If you don't remember your login name, or email address you used, then I suggest you go back to your email's and do a search for emails that contained  ( Aimoo ) in the from field.  If you have an aimoo administrator alert then your user name appears in the email text.

Once you have your user name and email address then login from the main screen at  http://www.aimoo.com/ and make shure it shows you the logout button, that way you know you are logged in and not just crusing around as guest.

Once you have verified you have logged in, then try accessing your board.  (See other posts about board access)

NOTE:  I am not an Aimoo admin, just a fellow user who is trying to help others along.  My thining being that if we help each other then Aimoo can get on with fixing the inportant things like the scrambled date order indexes.

Here is what I am getting when I try to go to the boards I frequent....

"This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying."

Boards:

Sports Game Trading

Non Sports Trading Board

 

I am logged into aimoo.

Click the Navigation button in the upper right hand corner of this Help Forum (make sure you are logged in)

Click Community ... Skins ... My Skins ... then click the Apply button. Check your URL again.

The error HTTP 500 Internal Server Error, or 404, or any of the other 'not found' errors are probably caused by you using your old links or URL's that once pointed to your board.

For example your old link may have been   SportingLinks.Aimoo.com 
After the upgrade you links will be reset to something like  'forum1.aimoo.com/SportingLinks'

The new name may be something like SportingLinks or Sporting_Links with underlines in it.  The owner / moderator of your board can make the old links to the board work again.  I have posted in a different thread on how to make that happen. Board users can't implement the change but if you are the owner of the board you can.

If you are just a user and are still unable to find the board you want try using the search function. 

If you are not the owner, but are a moderator then try using the SiteMap option from the menu at the bottom of most screens.  From Sitemap, or the Navigation button, you can navigate to 'Community'
 'Manage Community' and find the community there.

I'm still having a problem logging on--I am using my assigned user name and password, but I still come up as "guest" When I tried to re-register, my information (eg. nickname) was "already taken" (probably because I already enetered that information yesterday). Can you help?
