Come on guys - I just posted the "I want my money back" thread which came up as a guest posting due to Aimoo's pathetic software failing again (what's new there?)

Why we should sue Aimoo

Together we have probably paid millions to this company and up to relatively recently they have provided a good service but it has become increasingly obvious to all of us (even before the switchover) that there is something deeply wrong with the company.  Now we all find ourself in the same boat - we have boards which we have paid for and we are not receiving any part of the service that money should buy us and in right-thinking countries that is a breach of contract and of business law.

Those of us who are using the boards as part of a business are also losing money through losing custom that the aimoo boards bring us.

It is an unfortunate part of modern life that "time is money" - we are all spending ages trying to get to the bottom of why our boards are not working, those of us with large memberships are having to deal with hundreds of emails from disgruntled ex-members who cannot access the service we have paid for.  I am losing money big-time through their incompetence and inability to provide the service they have promised.

If we all act together then at the very least we might get the money we have paid in back.

So how do we do it?

well, I for one don't even have a clue as to Aimoo's address.  I have had a paid board with them for 5 years but I think that they might be Canadian from some distant recollection, the lack of understandable English in the replies so far on this help forum would suggest elsewhere or French speaking Canada at the very least.  But we need to know who we're dealing with - their support emails aren't being accepted which is the only point of contact on the aimoo.com site (which is highly suspicious) so...

does anyone know Aimoo's location?

has anyone had postal or telephone dealings with Aimoo in the past?

If we can find this then maybe we can all cut our losses and go with another type of provider (if you have a website and understand some of the technicalities then it is quite easy to set up a free messageboard which is far superior to that which Aimoo provided before the "upgrade".

They might well take this posting off their board which means we should get a messageboard somewhere else to discuss this between ourselves before we get completely shafted by these idiots.

Cheers
