I am trying to set up my forum as a complement to my website but whenever I try to add categories they don't get

added. I only get General Discussion and The Recycle Bin. I tried going to add new categories but then the

categories show up as just a little title with a plus/minus sign next to it and you can't actually go in it. I won't it

to show different categories.

Also, can anyone tell me why it says "none" under my rank?

You must add a sub-category to one of your categories so as to post any thread. To do that, please go to your right-hand control panel > manage community > community setting > category, there's a button "add sub-category".

BTW, your rank called "none" according to owner's setting. You may also set different user ranks for your own forum under manage community > members > user rank. Any of your further questions are welcome.
