Hello, I am using this service to provide message boards for visitors to my website (awesome service BTW.)
My issue, however, is the inibility I have to add an actual LINK from my Aimoo Forum, back to MY website. (I hope that makes sense.)
What I would like is to be able to place a "button" somewhere which will link to my Homepage (I would even be happy if I could figure out how to provide a standard link in a Forum 'Announcment."....
Thank you.

It would be possible for you to put a custom button in either the header or footer area of your forum.

Right Control Panel> Manage> Style> Customize HTML

One more quick question if you dont mind (sorry I am a NoOb) but how may I put a link directly into a post?  As you can see, when I try to link to my website it comes out like this: http://darkpenguin.net/  OR THIS www.darkpenguin.com, which basicly forces the reader to either "cut-n-paste" or just bypass my site altogether.
Sorry if this is a dumb question and I am missing something simple.

Type some words in the text editor and click the chain link icon, this brings up a box, fill in the url and click insert.

That URL link didn't work. It sends the user to the Aimoo forum1 default page.

I would recommend that you use the HTML link and write your own code. You can make a custom button and then add the link to it ...

an example, click the button;

Click Me!

Well, the link works ... but I'm not sure why the image of the link wants to open in a new window? That must be a default Aimoo setting?

The UBBCode works well. It cannot be linked to the website because you didn't enter http:// before your link.

Whether the link opens in a new window depends on the HTML code you enter. Or you may insert the image (custom button) first, and then select it and insert the link, there has an option to choose open the link in a new window.

Thank you.

Yes, you could enter HTML code to the Announcement content to insert a link.
